‘Careful creature’

I found an image from a complete stranger & got inspired.
I’ve been trying to play a game with myself; look at an image long enough, long as in hours & hours, that will arrive into weeks.
Anyway here is a poem about this image I randomly stumbled upon from @alikmelk

the clouds will swallow you.
Beneath them


waits the locket


inside your soul.

Transpire.


Step through time.


Escape.
The rocks are beehives.


The wind hums inside them.


I cannot tell


whether I am arriving


or being forgotten.
